Getting Started with PCON
How do I create an account?
Open the Download page to launch PCON in your browser or install the web app to your device. Then follow the prompts to sign up with your email address and create a profile for your pet.
How do I perform my first analysis?
Navigate to the Analyze tab. Grant camera and microphone permission. Point your camera toward your pet, keep them clearly in frame, and record a short session. Calm, well-lit recordings usually produce the clearest summaries.
Understanding the Analysis
How does the AI detect my pet's mood?
PCON reviews cues such as vocalizations, movement, posture, visible scene context, and saved profile information. Results are probabilistic observations for enrichment and wellness tracking, not medical advice.
What moods can PCON detect?
PCON focuses on common states such as happy, calm, anxious, playful, and sleepy. We may adjust labels as the product improves and as user feedback shows which summaries are most helpful.
How are music playlists generated?
When Spotify is connected, PCON uses the detected moment to suggest playlist ideas. You stay in control of playback and should stop music if your pet shows discomfort.
Troubleshooting
The camera or microphone is not working.
Check browser or device permissions, then reload PCON. On mobile, also confirm that camera and microphone access are enabled for the browser or installed web app.
My analysis looks inaccurate.
Try a short, steady recording in good lighting with one pet clearly visible. Avoid background noise, multiple pets in frame, and moments where your pet is hidden or moving too quickly.
Spotify is not connecting.
Sign in to Spotify again from the music or account flow, allow pop-ups for the connection step, and confirm you are using the same PCON account after returning from Spotify authorization.
The app feels blank or stuck loading.
Refresh the page, check your connection, and try signing out and back in. If the issue continues, contact support@pcon.app with your device, browser, and the page where it happened.
Features
Mood History
Every saved session is logged in your pet's profile and can be reviewed on the History page. You can look back at patterns across days, weeks, or months.
Vet Health Summary
In the Health tab, you can generate an AI-assisted summary of mood trends over a selected period. This can help with a veterinary conversation, but it is not a diagnostic tool.
Sharing
Share only the moments you choose. Avoid sharing home addresses, account information, or sensitive details in clips or notes.
Billing and Plans
Where can I see current pricing?
Visit the Pricing page for current beta access details and future plan expectations.
How do I cancel a paid plan?
When paid subscriptions are available, cancellation instructions will be shown before purchase and in your account settings. If your purchase is processed by an app store, manage cancellation through that store's subscription settings.
I see a charge I do not recognize.
Email support@pcon.app with the charge date, amount, and the email address on your PCON account. Do not send full card numbers or passwords.
Account and Privacy
How do I request my data or delete my account?
Use the Data Request page to request access, correction, deletion, or export. You can also email support from the address on your account.
How do I opt out of sale or sharing?
Use the Privacy Choices page for CCPA/CPRA opt-out and sensitive information limitation requests.
