Community Guidelines

PCON is a community of people who love their pets. We ask that you adhere to these guidelines when using any sharing or community features. Violations may result in content removal, feature restrictions, or permanent account termination.

Celebrate Animals, Never Harm Them

We have a zero-tolerance policy for any content that depicts, promotes, or glorifies animal cruelty or neglect. This includes physical abuse, creating distressing situations, or showcasing animals in dangerous environments.

Be Respectful

Treat others in the community with kindness. Harassment, hate speech, and bullying are strictly forbidden.

Share Authentically

Only share content of your own pets or animals you have permission to feature. Do not impersonate others or misrepresent yourself.

Protect Privacy

Do not share private information about other people without their consent.

Intellectual Property

Respect the copyrights and trademarks of others. Do not post content that you do not own or have the right to share. For copyright complaints, please follow our DMCA policy outlined in our Intellectual Property Policy.

Spam and Deceptive Practices

Do not post repetitive, unwanted, or unsolicited commercial content.

Enforcement and Appeals

We use a combination of automated tools and human review to enforce these guidelines. Our enforcement actions are designed to be proportional to the severity of the violation and the user's history on the platform.

Warning:

For most first-time violations, you will receive a warning.

Content Removal & Strikes:

If you continue to violate our policies, we will remove the content and apply a strike to your account. Strikes may result in temporary restrictions on your ability to post or use certain features.

Account Termination:

Accounts that accrue multiple strikes or engage in severe violations (e.g., posting content depicting animal cruelty) will be permanently terminated.

Appeals:

If you believe we have made a mistake in taking enforcement action, you will be notified and provided with a way to appeal the decision. We review appeals and will notify you of our decision. Abusing the appeal process may result in restrictions on your ability to submit future appeals.
